It’s my birthday! Today I am celebrating turning 26 and I am so excited to see what this new year has to offer. Birthdays can be intimidating and daunting, but I like to look at them as a reason to celebrate and eat cake! haha
In honor of turning 26 I thought it would be fun to share 26 random facts about myself!
- I love to read – I am currently reading Make Life Beautiful by Syd & Shea McGee
- My favorite movie of all time is Bride Wars
- I (almost) always have my nails painted, otherwise I feel naked lol
- I was voted best dressed in high school
- My favorite sport is hockey followed closely by baseball
- I was in marching band in high school and played the saxophone
- I have had the same best friend since kindergarten
- My husband and I were raised in the same town and went to the same college but did not meet until later in a completely different state
- I have never broken a bone (knock on wood)
- My favorite dessert is Godiva chocolate cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
- According to others, I talk and laugh in my sleep
- My favorite tv show is Schitt’s Creek (watched it twice now)
- I hate onions of any kind (but I wish I didn’t)
- I don’t go anywhere without my water bottle
- The beach is my favorite place to be
- I love anything blue and white…..no surprise there
- My husband and I have a secret handshake for when we finish a super hard workout
- I met Shep and his dog Little Craig, from the reality tv show Southern Charm, downtown a few months ago
- Call me basic but my dream car is a white Range Rover or black G-Wagon
- I lived in Missouri until I was 20 and have since lived in Florida, Virginia, and now South Carolina
- I am a hard core planner and love to make lists for everything…..oops
- My pet peeve is hearing people chew their food, it makes me cringe
- I love to watch Hoda and Jenna everyday after work
- I planned my wedding in 3 months from a different state
- I worked at Bass Pro…. for less than 90 days haha
- My dream vacation is visiting Greece
