I was recently given the opportunity to change positions at my current job and I happily accepted for a new challenge and chance to grow. With this exciting new position came a new daily change, business casual attire. I’m so excited to be writing my very 1st Workwear Wednesday post! Getting to style outfits for the office every morning means a little extra work but, as I’m sure you know, this girl loves to dress up! I’ve had so much fun shopping for looks that I can style for my new position at the office and starting a collection of my own workwear basics.
I have quickly learned that black pants are a staple and pair well with almost any top you may already have in your closet. I have also learned that finding a good pair of blacks pants can be quite the challenge! After trying on what feels like 50 pairs of black pants, I have finally found several that pass my test. Express has been my favorite spot so far and I have linked a few pairs below that I personally love. Their pants are comfortable, fit true to size, and feel very high quality.
Tops are a fun to add color or pattern, and layering with a silk cami and sweater is always a great option. However, nothing beats a classic white button down. This look is timeless and sophisticated and can be worn by anyone. Loft has been my go to for cute tops as well as my basic white top. Loft is always running great deals online and in stores and the sale corner in stores is always filled with great options.
Accessories are the final piece of any outfit and an easy way to dress up a look. Statement earrings, watches and bracelet stacks, and belts add a little something extra to a classic outfit. A large tote has been essential for me to carry all of my belonging with me to and from work. Gabe was sweet enough to get me a new tote and customized notebook for my first day on the job.
