Welcome to Seaside Southern!

Welcome to Seaside Southern! My name is Morgan and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a twenty something living in the charming city of Charleston, SC with my sweet hubby Gabe. I am a proud fur mama to our 1 year old Boston Terrier named Leyla May.

I finally decided to listen to my friends & family and start my very own blog to share all of my favorite things including my love for fashion, home décor, cooking, and exploring places near and far. I have talked about this day for far too long (probably drove my sweet husband crazy), and am feeling excited and ready to begin this fun new project!

I decided it would be fun to share a few things about myself for everyone to get to know me better, and I would love for you to comment with your favorite “go to” fact about yourself!

  • I lived in a small town in Missouri my whole life but took a leap of faith and moved to the Sunshine State when I was 21 to live out my life long dream of being a Florida girl! I lived in Florida for about 4 years where I met my now husband and followed him to Virginia and then South Carolina for his career.
  • I was a proud United States Navy military spouse for two years while my husband completed his contract. I have a deep respect for families in the military as I now know it can be a big and scary transition!
  • Boston Terriers have been a house hold staple for me growing up and I hope to never live without a wild, black & white pup running under my feet.
  • I would consider myself a true girly girl, and believe that there’s no such thing as being overdressed.
  • I am an only child…but I’ve had the same best friend since kindergarten who I consider my sister (love you Em).
  • I have been married for a little over 2 years and life has never been sweeter.
  • I enjoy staying physically active, especially with a good sweaty workout to clear my mind.
  • French vanilla creamer with a “splash of coffee” is how I begin each morning.
  • I graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. Go Bears!

I’m so excited to begin this journey and I can’t wait for you to follow along. Have a great week friends!

Never miss a post!
